Melanie Broder is a writer and creative marketer based in Los Angeles.

Her fiction has appeared in The Common, and her essays and criticism have appeared in Public Books, Reading in Translation, and Bustle.

She has taught Creative Writing at Columbia University and at the TUMO Center in Armenia.

She is currently leading content for Backlight while working on a novel and a screenplay.
